About Jewel "Princess" Johnson
Jewel "Princess" Johnson is a poet, writer, and artist based in Richmond, VA. With an eclectic creative spirit, she weaves her passion for language and art into compelling narratives that reflect her diverse academic and personal journey. Jewel holds an Associates in Music, a Bachelor of Arts in History, and a Masters of Education, blending her love for the arts with a deep understanding of history and education. When she isn't writing poetry, Jewel dedicates her time to her son, Jeremiah, and the spiritual children she nurtures at New Canaan International Church, where she directs the youth choir and works closely with the youth ministry. Her work and life are a testament to the power of storytelling, mentorship, and faith.
